Simply contact us for an order form, choose several photos for your book, and wait for your custom photo book to arrive on your doorstep. Typically, you will want at minimum of 30 photos to go in one book, but 40 or 50 works best. Have more than 50? Wonderful, we can work with your custom book to include as many photos as you'd like.

A page is one side from the edge of the book to the spine. A spread contains both pages, across the spine, from edge to edge.

Yes, of course. We can recommend a number of spreads to best suit your project.

Books are priced at a 10-spread (20-page) minimum. We can bind up to 70-spread (140-page) Story Books, 40-spread (80-page) Memory Books, and 40-spread (80-page) Premium Albums.

Your photo book is customized to fit your photos and your style. Within one business day of submitting your order, we will contact you to review your photo book. At that point we will determine a timeline that best suits your project. Typically, you will receive your custom photo book in about 4 weeks. See the complete order process here

You photo book will be delivered to your doorstep via USPS, UPS or FedEx. We will email you a tracking number when your book is shipped. Of course we will return your photos to you with a CD of the touched up images we used in your photo book. You will also receive a website showcasing your custom photo book.

Additional copies of photo books are available in any size of the same shape (square, or rectangle) at a discount price. Extra copies make wonderful gifts.

We will keep your photo book active for 3 months. After that, you may be charged an archival fee. If you would like to reorder a book, please call or email us with your invoice number and we will offer you additional books at a reduced cost.

Our custom photo books make wonderful and unique gifts for everyone on your list. We would be happy to send your order as a gift anywhere in the US. Please let us know that this order is a gift and we will attach a gift message. We also offer gift wrapping for a small fee.

We recommend that customers submit a high-resolution digital image for best printing results. The minimum image resolution is 1600 x 1200 pixels for books 8x8" and smaller. Larger books print best at 2592 x 1944 pixels or larger. Please check your camera settings before you take digital pictures to make sure that you are taking larger, high-quality photos.

At this time, we only accept photo submissions by mail or email. Email might work if you have less than 25 images. Otherwise, please send a CD or DVD to our mailing address. We recommend that you email one photo so we can check for minimum image requirements. Of course if you have printed pictures or negatives for us to scan, please send those to our mailing address.

We suggest you create two folders. One should be called "Must Use." Be sure to include your favorite photos in this folder; the ones we should use no matter what. The other should be called "Use if possible." Put all your other images in this folder. This way if we cannot fit all the photos in your book for one reason or another, we will use the ones that you like best.

We would suggest that you send us your original image size rather than cropping before you send. This will allow us to use maximum creativity in your photo project. What might seem like extra filler to you in a photo, might make a good background in our creative design. Please let us know if you have any photos that you'd like cropped a certain way.

By sending us your photos, you are stating that you have permission from the owner to reproduce your photos. Please do not submit any material that could infringe privacy, publicity or copyrights without the permission of the owner of these rights and the persons who are shown in the material.

Photobook Solutions protects photographer's copyrights. If you believe that your work has been copied without your permission, please contact us by phone or email and provide all the relevant details.

You may send us your photographs or negatives to be converted to digital format before your photo book is produced. Please do note that this will add additional time and fee to your project.

Your photographs or negatives need to be converted to digital format before we can make your photo project for you. You may use your own scanner to convert them. Please scan each image as a separate file, use a resolution of at least 300 dpi (600 dpi for images smaller than 4x6"), and save them as a .jpg. We suggest that you email us your first scanned image so that we can be sure that your scanner will produce the results you want to see in your photo book. Contact us if you need any help with the scanning process. If this is too big a job for you to tackle alone, let us know and we can scan your pictures for you.

All original photos that you send to Photobook Solutions will be returned to you unharmed. We will also include a digital copy of your images that have been scanned for your future use.

Included with your Photobook Solutions custom photo book is basic retouching to all your photos. Basic retouching makes the colors vivid and your photos pop. We also include touchups to red-eyes, rotations, and cropping for the best portion of your photograph. If you'd like to include any retouching to remove flaws, please note on your order form and we will accommodate for an additional fee.

Yes we can retouch your photos. Common requests include removing skin blemishes, adding or removing people, changing the background of a portrait, removing or toning down hot spots, adding vignettes, custom dodging and burning, custom cropping, and head or eye switching. Contact us and we will provide an estimate for most services.

At this time we do not offer photo restoration services.
